Common questions

Booking, Timing and Same-Day Service

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes, every day of the week, holidays included. A weekend or public holiday callout is quoted and charged exactly the same as a weekday one.

What happens after I call?

A plumber runs through what's happening and finds a time that works, usually that same day. The price gets confirmed on site before any work begins.

How do I book?

Call (02) 9023 2096 and we'll get you booked in straight away. If it's easier, fill in the callback form and we'll be in touch to sort a time that works.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes, day or night. A real person picks up, not a machine. A call in the middle of the night gets treated no differently to one on a weekday morning.

Common questions

Pricing, Quotes and Offers

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. It's $0 to have a plumber come out and take a look. If you go ahead, the price stays exactly as quoted, agreed before work starts.

What does "$65 off your first service" cover?

New customers get $65 taken off the price of their first booking, whatever the job turns out to be. It's applied once we've quoted and you've said yes to going ahead.

Is the quote really free?

Yes. A plumber looks at the job and gives you a fixed price in writing before anything starts. There's nothing to pay if you decide not to go ahead.

What discounts do you offer?

New customers get $65 off their first booking. A jet blast also includes a free camera run through the line, and a job worth $200 or more gets a free check over the wider plumbing while we're there. Every paid job earns a free garden tap fitted on the day, and we knock 20% off the bill for seniors.

Common questions

The Merrylands Questions

Can you handle new builds and renovations here?

Yes. Newer townhouse and unit developments near the station get the same careful diagnosis as an older post-war cottage, just with different pipework to check. We quote both the same way, no matter the build.

Do tree roots cause many blockages around Merrylands?

Tree roots sit behind most of the blockages we're called out for, especially once a joint opens up in an ageing clay sewer line. Autumn leaf drop after a storm tends to bring a small wave of calls too, as debris washes into the system.

How local are you, really?

We're in and out of Merrylands most weeks, including regular jobs around Merrylands Park and the streets nearby. It's why we recognise a lot of these streets before we even pull up.

Do you handle strata and units?

Yes, including shared lines that serve more than one dwelling. Strata blockages often need a bit more care working out who's responsible for which section, and we talk you through that before quoting.

Common questions

Licensed, Insured and Done Properly

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

If anything we did lets us down again, we come back and sort it properly, at our own cost. There's no time limit on that promise, and it doesn't disappear if you sell the house. That's the guarantee, nothing conditional attached.

Can I clear a blocked drain myself?

A plunger handles a simple, single-fixture clog well enough. Anything beyond that, particularly work on the drainage pipework itself, is work NSW rules reserve for a licensed plumber. Pushing on regardless can turn a small blockage into a much bigger repair.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

The boundary sits at the property connection. Anything upstream of it, right through to your own fixtures, is yours to maintain, and that's where the vast majority of blockages start. Downstream of that point belongs to the utility that owns the main. If yours turns out to be on your side, which is the case far more often than not, it's a licensed plumber's job, not a call to head office.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, fully. We're licensed plumbers and gas fitters under NSW Lic #465156C, and every job carries public liability cover as well.
